How long does it take to hear back after applying?
We usually respond within 7 business days. If we need more time, we’ll definitely let you know — you won’t be left without a reply.
How long does it take to get feedback after each hiring step?
We usually provide feedback within 2–3 business days after each stage. If it takes longer, your recruiter will let you know in advance.
Do I need a technical background to work at Mate academy?
Not necessarily! Many positions in our company don’t require technical skills. We mainly look at your experience and what you can actually do – so make sure to clearly show in your CV how you meet the requirements of the position.
How can I prepare for an interview?
Read the job description and think about how your skills fit this role. Prepare examples of real situations where they were useful—such a question may come up in the interview.

How big are the teams? Will I work with people in similar roles?
Depends on the team! If you join a product team, you’ll work in a cross-functional environment — a group of designers, developers, and marketers collaborating closely. We also have smaller, tight-knit functional teams that share tasks among themselves.
What’s onboarding like?
To make you feel comfortable from day one, we prepare everything in advance — equipment, accesses, and more. You’ll get a checklist for the entire onboarding period and always have someone to reach out to for help. During the probation period, you’ll also have weekly 1:1s with your manager — a space to ask questions, get advice, and make sure everything’s going well.
Can I work remotely?
Yes, Polish teams work fully remotely.
Are there opportunities to grow — career-wise and financially?
