Answer:
A full-fledged technical job interview 1-on-1 with a mentor that looks and feels like a real company interview. Lasts 60–90 minutes.
Mock Interview is the last mandatory step before going to the job market. A mentor runs a full technical interview: theoretical questions, live coding, sometimes system design tasks (depending on the course). It lasts 60–90 minutes, just like a real company interview. Afterwards you get detailed feedback: what worked, where your answers were shaky, which topics to polish. Students typically go through 1–2 Mock Interview rounds before real interviews. This is exceptionally effective training — it makes the first real interview feel like just another familiar scenario, not a shock. Mock Interviews are available in Polish and English (for people planning to work for foreign companies) (source: Mate academy data 2026).
