Topic:DevOps
Answer:
Basic DevOps: Git workflow, CI/CD via GitHub Actions, FE deployment (Vercel/Netlify) and BE (Render/Railway), basic environment management. Deep Docker/K8s — separate course.
DevOps in the Fullstack course is covered at an overview level, as part of the broader stack. It includes: Git flow (branches, PRs, merges), GitHub Actions for simple CI/CD (automated tests, deployment on push), Frontend deployment on Vercel/Netlify (industry standard for React), Backend deployment on Render/Railway/Heroku, environment variables, .env files. Deep DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, Terraform) is a separate track that you can add after the job or via specialist courses. A Mate-level junior Fullstack can handle deployment of pet projects and basic CI/CD in Polish startup firms. After 1–2 years of work you can comfortably add deeper DevOps if you target mid+ positions requiring specialization (source: Mate academy data 2026).
