What English level do I need for Mate academy?

Minimum B1, B2+ preferred. Materials are in Polish, but technical docs and many jobs are in English. You can add an English module.

Can I study at Mate academy while on maternity leave?

Yes. The Flex format lets you adapt to your child rhythm. We have graduates who finished the course while on parental leave.

What does your typical first day of learning at Mate academy look like?

Onboarding on Monday at 19:00 (~1 hour) to meet the platform, mentors, and learning process. Then you start from the first module at your own pace.

Are there any age limits for Mate academy courses?

No age limits. We have students aged 18, 30, and 50+. The only condition: the employment guarantee covers people of working age.

Mate academy courses are open to people of any age — no upper or lower limit. Our students are a demographic mix: 18-year-olds finishing high school who want to start a career without traditional higher education; 25–35-year-olds changing industries; parents on maternity/parental leave; people 40+ looking for a second career; even 50+ — everyone has a place at Mate. The only formal constraint: the employment guarantee covers only people who at the end of the course will be of working age in their country (typically before retirement age). The rest is a matter of motivation and the time you can devote to studying.
