Mandatory oral knowledge checks with a mentor after each module. Without passing them, you do not unlock the next modules or the employment stage.

What should I do if I fall behind the pace at Mate academy?

Reach out to the coordinator — we will adjust the plan, add extra Q&A, recommend specific materials. Flex is flexible enough to reasonably adjust the pace.

The Flex format naturally puts you in control of the pace, but sometimes life writes its own plans — illness, job change, short burnout. What to do: reach out to your education coordinator right away, do not wait for the problem to grow. We will help: extra 1-on-1 sessions with a mentor, recommended materials to fill specific gaps, schedule adjustment, longer break. Mate academy fights for every student — dropouts for technical reasons are rare. If the course topic objectively does not fit (e.g. you started Frontend and realized you prefer working with data), in the first week you can switch to another course free of charge.
