No. Mate policy: students do not pay extra for work tools. All tasks are done in free versions of Figma, Google Sheets, VS Code and others.
This is a foundational Mate academy policy — students do not have to pay for any work tools. All course tasks are done in free tools: Figma (free plan), Google Workspace, VS Code, IntelliJ Community Edition, Tableau Public, Google Sheets, PostgreSQL — everything free or within the free tier. Sometimes students accidentally click paid features or exceed draft limits — but this is not required. The course is deliberately designed around free tools. Exception: the Graphic Design course (in UA, not PL) needs Adobe Suite. But in the Polish offer there is no such requirement in any of the 8 courses. This is a real saving of PLN 1500–3000 per year that many other schools hide behind high licenses (source: Mate academy data 2026).
