Got questions? We’ve got answers

  • What's the difference between the full-time and flex formats for the QA engineer course?

Full-time format — for those who want to learn fast:

    Online learning from 9:00 to 18:00 (Mon–Fri)

Regular webinars, Q&A calls, and hands-on assignments

Ongoing support from mentors and active group communication

Doesn't work if you're working or studying at the same time

Flex format — for those who want to learn QA at their own pace:

Study whenever it works for you — in the morning, after work, weekends

You still get access to mentors, group chat, and Q&A sessions

Lifetime access to the platform — go back to materials anytime

Easy to combine with work, freelancing, or university

No matter the format, you get:

Practical tasks, real-life cases, and portfolio projects

A certificate you can share on LinkedIn or during your job search

Career support to help you get hired in QA

The chance to find a job in Kyiv, Lviv, or remotely across Ukraine

  • Will I get a certificate after the course?

Yes — when you finish the online course, you'll receive a certificate that confirms your skills in software testing, working with test cases and bug reports, and collaborating with a dev team.

You can add the certificate to your resume or LinkedIn profile — or bring it to your interviews. Mate grads already use theirs to land their first jobs in QA.

  • What if I'm still unsure if QA is right for me?

Having doubts is totally normal — and even helpful. If you're not sure if testing is your thing, just leave a request for a free consultation.

One of our managers will tell you more about the course, what it's like to work in QA, and what job options look like — so you can choose what really fits you.

    Find my course
  • Do I need to know math or have a technical degree to become a QA?

No — you don't need a tech background or strong math skills to take this course. Mate students come from all kinds of backgrounds, and 9 out of 10 start from zero.

We teach everything step by step:

how QA engineers think and how software development works

basic analytics and working with data

hands-on tools for testing: from bug trackers to automation

And most importantly — you'll learn everything through practice on a job-focused online course.

  • How do I join the QA course? Are there any age limits?

Super simple — just apply, and the next steps depend on the format you choose:

    Full-time format:

    You take a logic test

Have a short interview with us

In just a few days, you'll start learning online

You can apply from age 16 (with parental consent)

    Flex format:

Apply, and a manager will get in touch

You'll receive course details and pricing info

As soon as you pay, you can start learning at your own pace

You can apply from age 15

The job guarantee applies if you're legally allowed to work in your country by the time you finish

  • Why are you so confident I'll get a job after the QA course?

Because we've spent the last 11 years helping people with zero tech experience build real IT careers. The QA engineer course was made to help you go from complete beginner to hire-ready.

    Here's why it works:

80% of the course is practice: bug reports, test cases, and different types of testing

The program updates regularly to match market demands

Mentors review your homework, give feedback, and support you

Our career team helps with everything you need to get started:

    creating your QA resume

    updating your LinkedIn profile

preparing for job interviews in QA

And here's the proof: 80% of our graduates get hired within a few months of finishing the course.

  • How does the money-back guarantee work?

We believe in the quality of our online training — that's why we stick to one rule: No result — no payment.

    Full-time format:

Learn completely free — no upfront payment

You only start paying 12% of your salary after you get a job as a QA or in a similar tech role

If you don't get hired — you don't pay at all

    Flex format:

Finish the course and actively job hunt for 16 weeks with support from our career team

Don't get a single job offer? We'll refund you the full cost of the course

This is your financial safety net — proof that learning QA is worth it.

  • What's the full-time schedule like for the QA engineer course?

This format is for those who want full focus and fast results. You study online, Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 — and move closer to a new career every day.

Here's what a typical day looks like:

    09:00–10:00 — practical tasks

    10:00–11:30 — session with a mentor

    11:30–12:30 — lunch and break

    12:30–14:00 — real-case project work

    14:00–14:30 — Q&A session: answers and feedback

14:30–17:00 — project work or individual tasks

    17:00–18:00 — topic wrap-up and extra tips

This pace is perfect if you want to switch to QA quickly and get hired in just a few months.

  • What jobs can I apply for after the course?

Graduates of the QA engineer course often land their first jobs in positions such as QA manual testers, QA automation testers, and engineers.

  • What will I be able to do after completing the QA testing courses?

Our QA course is 80% practical and 20% theory. Therefore, during this time you will learn to test web applications, write test cases, work with bug trackers, understand the software life cycle, improve teamwork and communication, and be able to implement HTML and CSS for test environments.

  • What are online "Software Tester" courses better than self-study?

Our QA Engineer courses have a well-structured content: you master key topics step by step without confusion. Support from mentors, feedback and communication with peers will speed up progress. We will also help you create a portfolio, find a job, and learn how to properly communicate with the team.

  • How to master the profession of QA engineer from scratch?

Software Tester" is a training that will help you learn a new profession without having technical skills. First, you should understand the basics of testing, types of tests, the life cycle of bugs, and development methodologies. Further, tester courses involve writing queries, sorting, learning JavaScript, basic HTML and CSS constructions, browser GUI, working with a test environment, etc. In parallel, you will form a portfolio, participate in test projects and gain experience. When the QA Engineer course is completed, you can already be employed as a Junior QA.

  • What kind of computer should be for studying online tester courses?

To successfully pass the QA Engineer course, you should take care of the technique in advance. Your device must be equipped with an Intel Core i5 or higher processor, at least 8 GB of RAM, an SSD, and up-to-date software. Also make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Advantages of the QA Engineer profession

QA engineer courses are one of the fastest ways to enter IT without deep technical knowledge. Logical thinking, basic computer literacy and English at the Intermediate level are enough (you can study it on the course). The IT labor market is constantly looking for specialists in this field: digital products require quality control. The tester course will provide employment opportunities even in changing conditions.
