What courses does Mate academy offer?
Mate academy offers two types of online courses: tech courses with job placement and career growth courses.
Tech courses with job placement are for those who want to master a new profession from scratch: Frontend, Python, QA, Data Analytics, UI/UX, Project Management, Digital Marketing and more. During and after the course, we help you land your first tech job. These courses come in two formats:
1. Full-time – free tech courses until you get hired.
2. Flexible schedule in every track. You pay for the course and learn at your own pace.
Flexible courses come in two types – courses that help you master a new profession with job placement, and career growth courses. Career growth courses are short hands-on programs for people who already work and want to level up their skills: AI for testers, product analytics, Claude Code for developers, Project Management for MilTech and more.
How to start learning at Mate academy?
To start a full-time course, submit your application and take a logic test. After that, you can book an interview with our manager. We'll chat about your experience, your interest in tech, and whether this format works for you. There'll also be a few questions in English, and we'll answer anything you're curious about.
For a flexible course, just submit your application, and we'll reach out to you. On the call, we'll walk you through all the course details and help you choose the right track. You can start learning right after the payment.
In the flexible format, Mate academy also offers career growth courses. To learn more, request a consultation on the page of the course you're interested in. We'll tell you about the program and help you figure out whether it fits your experience and career goals.
Do I need math or tech background to enroll?
No, you don't need math or a technical background to join our tech courses with job placement. 9 out of 10 Mate students come from non-technical backgrounds. We'll teach you the skills you need from scratch and help you land a job in tech.
Career growth courses are designed for people who already have experience in their profession. For example, Claude Code for Devs is for developers with 3+ years of commercial experience, and Project Management for MilTech is for project managers who know the basics of the profession.
Are there any age limits?
You can apply for the full-time course starting at age 16 with your parents' permission. For the flexible course, you can begin if you’re at least 15 years old.
The employment guarantee applies if you reach the legal working age in your country by the time you finish the course.
How do I choose a career path?
Are there courses for professional development?
Yes, Mate academy offers online career growth courses. They are hands-on programs from industry practitioners for those who want to grow in their profession.
Will I get a certificate after the course?
Yes, of course! Over 5000 Mate graduates are already using their certificates to showcase their skills on LinkedIn and other social media.
How are you so sure that l'll find a job?
For over 11 years, we've been helping our students start their careers in tech. Over this time, we've refined our approach to helping beginners find a job.
Our courses are built around current industry requirements, are constantly updated, and are 80% hands-on practice.
On top of that, we provide personal support throughout your studies. Our team reviews your resume, helps you polish your professional social media profiles, and prepares you for interviews. Students also get access to vacancies from 500+ partner companies, some of which employers share exclusively with Mate academy. Thanks to this all-round support, 80% of our graduates land a tech job within a few months after finishing the course.
Job placement support applies to courses for starting in tech from scratch. Career growth courses don't include it.
How does money-back guarantee work?
Full-time graduates only start paying for their studies after they land a tech job. The payment is 12% of your net salary for 36 months. If you don't find a job, you pay nothing.
If you finish a flexible course, actively look for a job with our support for 24 weeks, and don't get a single offer, you're entitled to a full refund.
Career growth courses have separate terms: you can get a refund within the first 7 days after buying the course.
